Camilla is a registered psychologist who appreciates that everyone’s therapeutic journey looks different and is shaped by their history and current life experiences. She draws upon different therapeutic approaches to suit the needs of each individual client but central to all her consultations is the creation of a warm, non-judgemental, and safe space where clients can freely and openly express their difficulties and be received with compassion and understanding.
Camilla works collaboratively with clients who experience mood disorders, anxiety disorders, sleep related problems, attachment difficulties, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, adjustment difficulties, binge and stress eating disorders, and women’s health related problems. She has had personal experience with polycystic ovarian syndrome and despite this has been able to successfully lose over 20kgs and draws upon her own journey to empathize and share with her clients.
Camilla comes into Parkside Specialists able to offer a variety of psychotherapeutic modalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy.
