Dr Naomi Szwarcbard

Dr Naomi Szwarcbard initially graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science (Physiology & Immunology), followed by a Doctor of Medicine. She undertook internship and basic physician training at Alfred Health. Her specialist training in endocrinology was completed at Alfred Health and Western Health, including a clinical research fellowship working with the Australian National Diabetes Audit through Monash University. She has presented her medical research at national conferences and published in international journals.

Naomi welcomes referrals in all areas of endocrinology, including diabetes, men’s and women’s hormonal issues, osteoporosis, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and pituitary diseases, and endocrine disorders in pregnancy. She is focused on open communication in order to provide the most appropriate patient-centred care. Naomi also consults privately at the Victorian Diabetes Endocrine Network in Malvern, and publicly at The Alfred Hospital.
